Domino Award: Submissions are In!

This week was the deadline for students to submit essays for the 2008 Domino Award (topple #0000003).  I want to thank everyone who helped spread the word about this exciting program, especially my partner in crime at CU Professor Clayton Lewis.

Next week we will start pulling together the plans for the awards banquet to be held on 4/14 (new date).

It will be very exciting to watch how the winning students turn into "dominoes" and go one to set big things in motion. 

I have some cool ideas planned for the awards dinner (more posts on that later).  And, don't forget that we are very fortunate to have Bill Coleman joining us as our key note speaker.

Just over a year ago I made it a goal of mine to get this program rolling again.  I'm very excited to be seeing it all come together, and to know that this year is just one of many more to come.
